All at Ballinroad FC have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that our return to training is carried out in a manner which prioritises the health and safety of our all of our players and coaches.
Based on the latest protocols as received from the Football Association of Ireland on June 25th 2020, dressing rooms and showering facilities will remain closed for now. Our front toilet will be open for use by players during sessions and with hand washing and a sanitising unit now installed we encourage all players to practice good hand washing hygiene.
More information specific to Junior and Underage players will be sent to team WhatsApp groups and we would ask all players, parents and guardians to read and fully understand what is expected of us all over the coming weeks. We know adults and children alike have really missed their weekly kick about and look forward to together ensuring that Ballinroad FC returns to the playing field in the safest way possible.
This new way of doing things is new to us all, and we would encourage all to bare with us as we get used to this new way of operating. We would also appreciate any feedback or observations on perhaps how we could do something better or more efficiently.
Here's looking forward to the 2020/2021 season ahead, another season of Ballinroad FC playing in the Premier division.
All players and parents/guardians are encouraged to keep up to date with the HSE guidelines at hse.ie/corovirus
